We had 7 pallets delivered last week and the quality of sod was incomparable. Being a landscaper I know good and bad sod and theirs is great! K Willis

We ordered sod from All American Sod a few weeks ago, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Just a few weeks later, our lawn is thriving and looks beautiful. We’re really happy with both the quality of the sod and the service we received! E McMullen

"Great company to work with. Always goes out of their way to help me out. I own a small landscape company in the valley. They are always friendly to me. I see lots of happy people picking up their product in the parking lot. Great place to say hi to another Person Participating in the same thing you are." J Petter

“The customer service was excellent. I was able to call and speak with someone who helped me get what we were looking for. The delivery driver was great at placing the pallets where we needed them.”

"Why is my sod so lush and dark green? My neighbors are jealous—they're dumping fertilizers, overwatering, mowing like crazy, and still can't match it!" Many Customers
The secret? Ferrozite—our premium, iron-rich soil that is naturally part of the growing process on our farm.

No Jobs too Big or too Small!
Our Family's Utah Sod Farming Legacy — Since 1977
Every family business has a story, and ours began with 20 acres of Utah farmland and a dream.

In 1977, Warren and Betty Harris planted their first sod crop. By 1978, they were harvesting and selling turfgrass, laying the foundation for what would become three generations of family sod farming.

Our Sod Farm in Action: Harvesting, Delivery, The 2018 Flood & Drought
Behind the Scenes at Our Utah Sod Farm
Growing quality sod takes more than planting grass. It requires years of experience, specialized equipment, careful irrigation, and a commitment to overcoming challenges.
At All American Sod, we've experienced the rewards and difficulties of farming firsthand.
Growing, Harvesting & Delivering Utah Sod
Take a behind-the-scenes look at our sod farming operation. From growing turfgrass in our Utah fields to harvesting fresh sod and delivering it to customers, these videos show the work involved in producing a beautiful natural lawn.
Our family has come a long way from the original walk-behind sod harvester used in 1978.
The 2018 Flood — A Challenge That Changed Our Farm
In 2018, devastating flooding affected approximately 300 acres of our sod production.
It was one of the most difficult challenges our family business has faced. But it also became part of our story of perseverance, adaptation, and rebuilding.
Watch our flood video to see the challenges we experienced and how they shaped the future of our farming operation.
The 2021–2026 Drought — Farming Through Challenging Times
Following the devastating floods of 2018, our family faced another major challenge: years of drought and water uncertainty from 2021 through 2026. For a Utah sod farm, growing healthy turfgrass during prolonged dry conditions requires careful irrigation, water management, and constant attention to changing weather conditions. Rising operating costs and the pressure to conserve water made an already demanding business even more challenging. Through it all, the Harris family continued working to grow sod while recognizing the importance of responsible water use, and grasses role in the water cycle. These difficult years reinforced our belief that healthy soil, living vegetation, and thoughtful water management are essential to Utah's agricultural future.
